This Vintage Turkish Oushak Runner, measuring 3'1" x 9'7", is handwoven from wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Originating on the Anatolian plateau, the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, each local village developed unique designs and color palettes seldom replicated by nearby communities. These antique rugs have been prominently featured in historic European paintings. Their bold geometric patterns combined with muted tones have long been favored by interior designers.
