This authentic Vintage Turkish Oushak Runner is crafted by hand using wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Spanning 2'9" x 13'6", this rug is a product of the rich tradition and pride of the Anatolian plateau, where the art of Oriental rug weaving originated. Each village in the area has its own unique design and color scheme, making these rugs highly sought after by interior designers. Their bold geometric patterns and soft color palette have even been featured in historical European paintings.
