This Semi Antique Persian Tabriz rug has been carefully crafted by hand in the Tabriz region of Northern Iran, and has since been distressed and refinished in the U.S. It measures 9' x 12'6" and originates from the Persian (Iranian) art and culture. Rug-weaving in Persia dates back to the Bronze Age, with some of the earliest surviving examples coming from the Safavid dynasty in the 16th century.
