This Semi Antique Persian Melayer Runner is hand woven in the Tabriz region of Northern Iran, and has been distressed and refinished in the U.S. with a size of 3'1" x 16'3". This exquisite rug has a long history, dating back to the Bronze Age of Persian (Iranian) art and culture. In fact, the earliest surviving Persian rugs are from the Safavid dynasty in the 16th century.
