Semi Antique Persian Melayer Rug - 4'3" x 6'6" - 260016

A semi antique Persian Melayer rug, hand-knotted in wool at 4'3" x 6'6", built for rooms that get walked through every day. A single medallion anchors the field, surrounded by crisp geometric motifs in deep indigo blue and warm madder red that have softened into a gentle patina with age. The wool has a low, dense pile with a quiet sheen underfoot, and the transitional drawing sits just as comfortably with modern furniture as with antiques. Ideal for an entryway, a reading corner, or layered beside a bed. One of a kind, as every hand-knotted Melayer is.
